Sherri S. Frizell, Ph.D. Associate Professor Computer Science Prairie View A&M University |
Dr. Frizell has a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Jackson State University and Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science and Software Engineering from Auburn University. Her education is complemented by research opportunities at the Department of Defense and IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. Her research interests include Human-Computer Interaction, Educational Technology, Social
Computing, and Computer Science and Engineering Education.
She has published in the areas of Human-Computer Interaction and Engineering Education and has received over 1 million dollars in external funding. She also serves as co-advisor to the PVAMU chapter of the Society of Women Engineers and is very involved in programs to promote the academic and career success of females in Computer Science and Engineering.
